Dense fog envelops parts of Bahrain

Manama: Dense fog has enveloped several areas in Bahrain, causing traffic to crawl along a snail's pace and throwing normal life out of gear.

Commuters had their patience severely tested by the frustratingly slow-moving traffic as policemen sought to keep the flow of vehicles and the attitudes of the drivers under control in the morning rush.

The mist and fog patches are expected to clear up, giving way to clouds, the daily weather report said.
