Dubai: Bahrain announced 100 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 1107.

The Ministry of Health reported the recovery of four people, raising the total number of recoveries to 759.

Among the newly diagnosed cases are 78 expatriate workers who have been put under quarantine. The ministry said examinations will soon be conducted for all those who where in contact with the confirmed cases.

Death toll stands at 7. A total of 85,126 coronavirus tests have been so far conducted.

The total coronavirus cases include three under intensive case while 1105 are stable.
