The Government of the Sultanate of Oman has invited applications for fully funded scholarships under the Omani Programme for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation, offering international students — including Pakistani nationals — the chance to pursue bachelor’s degrees in select disciplines.

The scholarships cover studies in engineering, humanities, information technology, and sciences (excluding medicine) at leading private higher education institutions across Oman.

Benefits include:

  • Full tuition fee waiver

  • Monthly stipend of OMR 200 (if housing is not provided) or OMR 140 (with free housing)

  • One round-trip air ticket per academic year

  • Choice of up to three universities and two academic majors

Eligibility criteria require applicants to be Pakistani nationals aged 23 or younger, with an intermediate or equivalent qualification (Grade 12) completed within the past three years, and medically fit. An Equivalency Certificate from Oman’s Ministry of Education is also mandatory.

Required documents include a valid passport, academic certificates, the Omani equivalency certificate, and English language proficiency results (if available). All submissions must be in English, meet specified file size limits (2MB for PDFs, 1MB for images), and avoid special characters in filenames.

Application process: Candidates must apply directly to Omani universities before 25 August 2025 and share their details with the Embassy of Pakistan in Muscat at parepmuscat@mofa.gov.pk. Online registration is also required via: https://eservices.moheri.gov.om/Student/CoStudReeistration.aspx

The initiative aims to strengthen cultural and academic ties while offering talented students the opportunity to study in Oman’s vibrant educational environment.
