Passengers testing positive for COVID will have to undergo institutional quarantine

Mumbai: All international passengers arriving in Mumbai must undergo a rapid RT-PCR test, ANI reported on Tuesday.
If the test is negative, passengers will be allowed to go home for a 7-day home quarantine. If the test is positive, passengers will be required to go for institutional quarantine, ANI reported authorities as saying.
Individuals testing positive for COVID-19 and wishing to choose a private facility for quarantine can choose from authorised hotels. The cost of such hotel stay and all other expenses will be the responsibility of the passenger, authorities added in the notice.
