The Chief Minister has been hospitalised since Monday, July 21
Dubai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin was hospitalised on Monday, July 21, the Minister for Development, Information and Publicity M.P. Saminathan made the announcement on X (formerly Twitter).
But despite being hospitalised, Stalin reportedly continued his government duties from the hospital. In a post shared on X by Stalin, the CM said, “I am continuing government duties even while in the hospital.”
The post went on to say that the ‘Stalin With You’ project, which aims at addressing public grievances and bring welfare schemes to people is proceeding as planned.
“I have instructed the Chief Secretary to gather these details and ensure that there is no delay in resolving the people’s petitions,” the post read.
According to reports, the hospital stated that the Tamil Nadu CM has been admitted for an evaluation of his symptoms, and tests are being conducted to assess his health.
The statement from the hospital said, “Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, had mild giddiness during his routine morning walk. He has been admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, for evaluation of his symptoms, and the necessary diagnostic tests are being done.”
MK Stalin, 72, who was supposed to visit Tiruppur and Coimbatore districts on July 22 and 23, cancelled his visit due to his health conditions.
