Karunanidhi blames coterie

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) M. Karunanidhi president charged that the party had been deprived of the allocated portfolios by a coterie that is surrounding the prime minister and the Congress president.

"It is not good for Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh to be surrounded by such a coterie.

They have to be protect from this coterie. It good that the issue has come out in the open as it has helped to expose the existence of this coterie," he said.

Karunanidhi also hinted that the new minister for Petroleum and one time DMK baiter Mani Shankar Aiyar could be one among this coterie.
