India: Two engineers arrested for killing auto driver over parking dispute

Gurugram: Gurugram Police have arrested two engineers, Jaideep and Mani Shankar Shukla, for allegedly killing a 22-year-old auto driver, Sonu, during a parking dispute in DLF Phase-3.

The incident occurred on Sunday around 6pm when Sonu parked his auto on the roadside.

The accused asked him to move it, leading to a heated argument. In a fit of rage, they brutally assaulted him and fled. Sonu, reportedly intoxicated at the time, was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

Police have registered a murder case and sent the body for postmortem. Investigations revealed that the accused previously worked together in an IT company, with Mani Shankar recently returning to Gurugram while job-hunting.
