India: Ghaziabad restaurant employee arrested for spitting on roti in viral video

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh): A shocking video that went viral on social media has led to the arrest of a man working at a restaurant in Ghaziabad. The footage shows the employee spitting on a customer's roti while preparing it, sparking outrage online.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Swatantra Kumar Singh confirmed the incident, revealing that the restaurant, located in Sombazar, was identified from the video. The suspect, Irfan, a resident of Bijnor, works at the restaurant and was caught on camera engaging in the disturbing act.

After authorities took notice of the viral clip, Irfan was promptly taken into custody. A case has been filed, and further legal proceedings are underway as police continue their investigation into the matter.
