He picks up children from school telling them he will take them to play
Konaseema (Andhra Pradesh): In a shocking incident in Ganapathinagar, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, a father allegedly pushed his two children into a canal, resulting in the death of one and the survival of the other.
According to Police Inspector Ramesh, the father, identified as Pilli Raju from Venturu village in Rayavaram Mandal, had been dealing with financial difficulties.
On Monday, he picked up his children, Pilli Sandeep (10) and Pilli Karunya (6), from school, telling them he would take them to play.
However, when they reached the canal, Raju pushed both children into the water. Sandeep managed to escape, but Karunya tragically drowned. After the incident, Raju fled the scene, and the police have launched a search operation to locate him.
Inspector Ramesh confirmed that a case would be filed against Raju, and the authorities are investigating all angles, including the possibility that Raju may have fled after committing the crime or attempted to harm himself. The search for Raju continues.
