According to a local news source, the hospital authorities claim the man did not bring his mother to the right entrance due to which the staff was unable to help them immediately and also the emergency doors were open at the back entrance.

Social media users were furious, and they blamed the government for not having proper medical facilities during COVID-19 pandemic. Many users commented that as this seems to be a common occurrence, authorities in rural places are not focusing on primary medical emergencies. While some other users commented that India has made significant advances in health but still there are huge disparities and access to healthcare in rural areas remains a huge challenge.
