Passengers evacuated a Delta flight in Atlanta on Friday morning after an aborted takeoff due to an engine issue, according to CNN.

A photo shared by passenger Curtis James showed deployed evacuation slides as passengers left the Boeing 757 on the snowy tarmac of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Delta Air Lines confirmed the incident, stating that flight 2668 from Atlanta to Minneapolis-St. Paul suspended takeoff "after an indication of an engine issue."

The airline stated that the flight crew followed established procedures. Four passengers reported minor injuries, with one transported to a hospital and three treated at the scene, according to the airport.

The FAA will investigate the incident, which involved 201 passengers, two pilots, and five flight attendants.

The passengers were evacuated and driven back to the terminal on the tarmac. The incident occurred as the airport was experiencing winter weather impacting much of the South.
