UAE weather: Increase in temperatures and more rainfall expected across these regions

Dubai: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are to be expected today across the UAE, with a probability of rainfall over some areas, “especially coastal, northern, and eastern areas,” according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

The NCM forecast also states there will be another increase in temperatures today.

Light rainfall was also reported this morning over Dibba Al Fujairah, Al Tuwiyain in Fujairah, and over Al Mirfa area in Al Dhafra Region.

The highest temperatures today are expected to be between 27 and 31 degree Celsius, while temperature lows will be between 15 and 20 degree Celsius over coastal and island areas.

According to the NCM, blowing dust can be expected today as light to moderate winds will reach speeds up to 40 km/hr, over coastal areas.

The forecast also states that rainy weather conditions will continue until Tuesday, February 18, over some coastal, northern and western areas.
