Dubai: Residents across the UAE are bracing for a sweltering day as the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts fair to partly cloudy conditions, particularly in the eastern regions.

Temperatures are expected to peak at a scorching 46°C in the country’s internal areas, while coastal and island regions will see highs between 38°C and 42°C. Mountainous areas will offer little relief, with temperatures climbing to 39°C.

Northwest to southwest winds will blow lightly to moderately, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 35 km/h during the day. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain relatively calm, with slight sea conditions forecast.

Authorities urge the public to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and take necessary precautions to stay safe amid the extreme heat.
