Dubai: The UAE continues to endure the peak of summer with scorching temperatures and hazy conditions persisting across much of the country.

According to AccuWeather, Dubai will experience a high of 40°C today under hazy and sunny skies. Tonight, conditions will ease slightly with partly cloudy skies and a low of 32°C. As of this morning, the city is already at 33°C, though it feels closer to 36°C. Residents are advised to brace for dusty conditions beginning Thursday morning through late Thursday night, which may impact visibility and air quality.

In Abu Dhabi, temperatures will soar even higher, peaking at 42°C under mostly sunny skies. The evening will remain warm with mainly clear conditions and a low of 31°C. The current temperature stands at 33°C, with a real-feel temperature of 39°C. Dust is also expected to persist in the capital through Thursday night.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts fair to partly cloudy weather at times, especially in eastern regions. Internal areas can expect temperatures between 42°C and 47°C, while coastal regions and islands will see highs ranging from 40°C to 44°C. Mountainous areas will be comparatively cooler, with temperatures between 32°C and 37°C.

The highest temperature recorded across the UAE on Tuesday was a blistering 47.3°C in Jazeera B.G., located in the Al Dhafra region, at 3.45pm, according to the NCM.

Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northwest at 10–25 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 35 km/h during the day. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain slight to moderate in wave activity.

Authorities continue to urge residents and visitors to stay hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours, and remain cautious during periods of blowing dust.
