The Met Office issued red and yellow fog alerts across parts of the UAE

Dubai: Motorists driving towards Abu Dhabi are advised to be cautious as dense fog was reported in the area. The Met Office also forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with a probability of light rainfall on Sunday morning, across some coastal and northern areas. The country is also said to see another decrease in temperatures.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), red and yellow fog alerts were issued across parts of Abu Dhabi, including Ajban, Sweihan and Abu Dhabi Road, Arjan, and Al Wathba areas. Dense fog was also reported over parts of Al Dhafra and Al Ain regions.
The NCM, in a forecast, stated there will be another decrease in temperatures today, and residents can expected a chance of light rainfall on Sunday, February 16, morning.
Additionally, humid weather conditions are expected to continue at night, and over some internal areas on Sunday morning.
The highest temperatures across the coastal and island areas are expected to be between 27 and 32 degree Celsius, while temperature lows will be between 15 and 20 degree Celsius.
Light to moderate winds, and fresh at times, will be witnessed across the country, with speeds reaching up to 40 km/hr in coastal and island and internal regions of the country.
