Dubai: UAE residents experienced a foggy morning today, with thick fog reducing visibility in parts of Abu Dhabi and the Al Dhafra regions. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued red and yellow fog alerts due to low horizontal visibility, which may further worsen in some internal and coastal areas until 9:30 AM on March 30.

The fog is particularly dense over areas such as Al Shinayin, Zayed International Airport, Al Rahabah in Abu Dhabi, and Al Hamra, Al Bdayah, Al Zarraf, Bu Hasa in Al Dhafra. The NCM advises motorists to exercise caution as poor visibility on the roads poses potential hazards.

According to the NCM, today’s weather is expected to be generally fair, with occasional partly cloudy conditions. Temperatures in the internal regions of the UAE will range from 32°C to 26°C, with coastal areas and islands seeing highs between 27°C and 32°C. The mountains will experience cooler temperatures ranging from 21°C to 26°C.

Tonight and into Monday morning, humidity levels are expected to rise, particularly in some Western coastal areas, with a probability of mist formation.

The NCM urges residents to stay informed about ongoing weather changes and any further updates on temperatures and conditions across the UAE.
