Winds are expected to blow dust and sand into the air
Dubai: If you are planning to visit the beach, please exercise caution as a rough sea alert has been issued, today morning. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has warned that the Arabian Gulf will experience turbulent conditions, with northwesterly winds reaching speeds of 40 km/h and wave heights expected to reach up to nine feet.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reports that the skies across the UAE are expected to be dusty and partly cloudy at times. There may also be light rainfall in some areas of the Northern and Eastern regions, with conditions ranging from partly cloudy to cloudy.
The winds are expected to blow dust and sand into the air reducing horizontal visibility. Drivers should be careful on the road as the dust might hinder visibility. Those who suffer from allergies should also take precautions when going outside.
Temperatures are expected to decrease. On average, temperatures are expected to be in the high 30s and minimum temperatures could drop to 16°C. Dubai is currently at 22°C with mostly partly cloudy skies.
The maximum humidity is expected to reach 95 per cent.By night and early Thursday, some inland areas might feel the heat of humidity, with a chance of fog or mist rolling in to dampen the morning.
