Heavy rains lash Fujairah and Khor Fakkan

Fujairah: Heavy to moderate rains lashed different parts of Fujairah and Khor Fakkan, leading to water flow in valleys in interior and mountainous areas.

The sudden heavy showers caused a flow of valleys and streams in the inland and mountainous areas, which snarled up the traffic on roads to and from Fujairah.

The heavy rainfall led to the closure of the main road leading to Kalba and Fujairah. 

The Khor fakkan Municipality and competent authorities had to shut down traffic on the main road leading to Kalba and Fujairah due to the speedy water flow in the valleys.
