Temperatures to rise before winds and rough seas return across the emirates

Dubai: Fair to partly cloudy conditions are expected across the UAE on Friday, with humid weather forecast overnight into Saturday morning in some coastal and internal areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Light to moderate winds are expected during the day, occasionally freshening, with speeds ranging between 10 and 25 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h at times. The sea is forecast to be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.

Temperatures on Friday are expected to reach between 24°C and 28°C in coastal areas, while internal regions may see highs of 27°C to 32°C. Mountain areas will remain cooler, with temperatures ranging between 12°C and 18°C.
Looking ahead to Saturday, conditions will remain fair to partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at times with a probability of light rainfall over islands and some coastal areas by early Sunday. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly, while winds will shift from southeasterly to northeasterly at 10–20 km/h, reaching 30 km/h.
On Sunday, partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected with a continued chance of light rain over some coastal and northern areas. Winds are forecast to strengthen at times, reaching 40 km/h, while sea conditions may become moderate to rough by evening.
Forecasts indicate more unsettled conditions on Monday, with partly cloudy skies and another chance of light rainfall over coastal, northern and eastern regions. Moderate to fresh northwesterly winds may cause blowing dust and sand, reducing horizontal visibility, with speeds reaching 45 km/h. Sea conditions are expected to become rough to very rough at times.
By Tuesday, similar conditions are expected to persist, with partly cloudy skies and fresh to strong northwesterly winds reaching up to 50 km/h in some areas. Dust and sand may continue to affect visibility, while rough seas are expected in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
