Rough sea alert out, strong winds to blow dust across the country

Dubai: Rain and cooler temperatures are expected in the UAE on Friday, February 7. Today, the sky changed from clear to cloudy, and temperatures rose slightly. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) said humidity levels will likely increase tonight.
The maximum temperature reached 30.5°C in Al Jazeera B.G, located in the Al Dhafra Region. In contrast, the lowest temperature reported this morning was 5.1°C in Raknah (Al Ain) at 5:45 AM.
According to the latest weather update, scattered rains are expected in the northern and eastern regions of the country from Friday through Saturday, February 8. The Met Office reports that low clouds will develop over various areas, with a chance of light rainfall in some eastern and northern regions.
On Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy and occasionally dusty, becoming cloudy over some coastal areas, northern regions, and islands. There is a possibility of light rainfall, especially by night and on Saturday morning. On average, temperatures are expected to be in the low 20s, with minimum temperatures dropping to 5°C.
Humidity will increase at night and on Friday morning, with a likelihood of mist formation in some internal western areas. Winds are expected to blow at speeds of 15 – 25 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 40 km/h. These winds may carry dust and sand into the air, particularly during the day, reducing horizontal visibility.
Drivers should exercise caution on the road, as the dust may impair visibility. Those who suffer from allergies should also take precautions when outdoors.
The sea conditions will be moderate, becoming gradually rough by evening in the west, while remaining slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
