DUBAI: Unity Run 2017, a celebratory walk for people of determination, will be held at Dubai Silicon Oasis on November 24.
The community event sponsored by Emirates NBD will see participants complete an untimed three kilometre walk followed by a 10 kilometre run. The run will offer free entry to people with disability (people of determination) as well as their families and friends. The event is supported by Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities and Senses Residential and Day Care Centre as well as Emirates Red Crescent.
The run is also in line with Emirates NBD’s flagship advocacy platform #TogetherLimitless, that aims to bridge the gap between people in different segments of society.
Husam Al Sayed, group chief human resource officer at Emirates NBD, said, “We continue to support initiatives that encourage diversity and are accessible to everyone and aligned with the #MyCommunity vision of the UAE government.”
