Abu Dhabi: The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICP), Customs, and Border Security has launched a revamped version of its website (www.icp.gov.ae), aimed at providing users with a streamlined and secure browsing experience.

The updated site enhances accessibility to the authority’s services and complies with the UAE’s unified design standards for government websites.

Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director-General of the Authority, said that the new website showcases the UAE’s commitment to the latest digital and smart government practices. It aligns with the national standards for government services and supports the UAE Government's vision for the future.

Designed according to guidelines set by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, the website ensures a fast, efficient, and user-friendly browsing experience, offering 24/7 access to services from anywhere.

Fast services

“The authority prioritises customer satisfaction by offering high-quality, fast services with minimal effort,” said Major General Al Khaili.

“The new site introduces several updates, including enhanced visual elements and cutting-edge technologies, making it easier for users to stay informed about the authority’s latest news, initiatives, projects, and events. This also strengthens communication with users both in the UAE and internationally.”

The revamped website incorporates features for accessibility, ensuring that it meets modern reading and browsing standards. This includes optimised colour contrast, fonts, images, and navigation. A voice navigation option has also been added, enabling users to search for information and services more easily.

Interactive guide

Additionally, the new site includes an interactive guide to navigating the services offered by the authority. This guide organizes information by category, helping users understand the conditions, regulations, and procedures for each service, while also allowing them to apply for services directly.

Major General Al Khaili noted that these enhancements contribute to improving the community's quality of life and reinforce the UAE’s position as a global leader in digital governance.
