Khalifa Foundation distributing iftar meals to more than 60,000 displaced people in Iraqi Kurdistan

Arbil: A food campaign targeting more than 60,000 displaced Iraqis, Syrians and underprivileged families in Iraqi Kurdistan during Ramadan is being implemented by the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, in cooperation with the UAE Consulate in Arbil.

A spokesperson at the Khalifa Foundation said that the iftar food baskets contain 12 items of basic food staples, and that the campaign is part of many projects the organisation is carrying out in a number of Arab and Islamic countries during Ramadan.
