Dubai: Apparel Group joined a growing list of businesses, institutions and individuals announcing their support of ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to establish the largest sustainable food aid endowment fund.
The Group on Wednesday announced it will contribute Dh10 million over a period of five years to help implement sustainable programmes to fight and eradicate hunger.
Organised by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the campaign highlights the UAE’s unwavering commitment towards helping communities and individuals in need around the world.
