Abu Dhabi: Dates produced in the UAE will soon be showcased at the renowned food showcase exhibition, SIAL Paris 2012, the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) announced in a statement today (Saturday).
The dates will be presented at the ADFCA platform in SIAL Paris, which will also host some of the biggest UAE date exporters, including Al Foah, Liwa Dates, Emirates Dates, Emirates Delight Dates Factory and Royal Dates.
“ADFCA’s participation in SIAL Paris will create new markets, introduce our distinctive date products, and establish relationships with international buyers who are experts in the food industry. We are looking to create business opportunities for our local dates industry,” said Mohammad Jalal Al Reyaysa, director of communication and community service at ADFCA.
