Two rescued from drowning in Ajman

The Asian men were pulled out of the sea in five minutes

Ajman: Two Asian men in their twenties were rescued from drowning off the beach in Ajman on Thursday, Colonel Nasser Rashid Al Ziri, director of the media and public relations department of Ajman Civil Defence, said.

The duo were rescued by marine division of Ajman Civil Defence and rushed to Khalifa Hospital. Police were alerted about the men at around 7.40am. “As soon as we were notified, a rescue team and ambulance rushed to the beach,” he said. The rescue operation lasted only five minutes and the men were pulled out of the sea.
