Two Get 15 Years For Rape Of French Boy

The Dubai Court of First Instance on Wednesday sentenced two Emiratis Abu Bakr and Ebrahim to 15 years in jail for sodomising a 15-year-old Swiss-French boy Alexandre in July this year.

They were also convicted on the charges of kidnapping and threatening the boy at knife point. The crime was committed in the desert on July 14.

The Public Prosecution had charged 35-year-old Emirati, Abu Bakr, his 18-year-old compatriot, Ebrahim, and their 17-year-old compatriot teenager (being prosecuted at Juveniles Court) I.S., with deception and kidnapping the 15-year-old French student, Alexandre, and his 15-year-old compatriot, Fabrice K, by offering to drive them home.
Abu Bakr's medical reports later confirmed that he has Aids and Hepatitis.

Veronique Robert, the mother of the victim, was also present in the court room on Wednesday.
