Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has honoured a Pakistani taxi driver Falak Niaz Khan for going above and beyond in delivering an unforgettable experience to a female tourist from China.

In a video shared by the RTA on social media, Khan is seen receiving an appreciation certificate from Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors at the RTA. The recognition came after a heartwarming incident that captured the attention of many online.

The video shows Khan warmly welcoming a female Chinese tourist, greeting her in Mandarin, and helping her place her luggage in the taxi’s boot. His kind and respectful gestures clearly made an impact. The tourist was seen smiling, asking if he was from Pakistan (to which he replied, “Yes”), and even took a cheerful selfie with him inside the taxi.

Khan’s helpfulness did not end there. Upon arrival, he stepped out again to retrieve the tourist’s bags, exchanging polite goodbyes in Mandarin as she departed with a smile.

The RTA praised Khan’s conduct as a shining example of the hospitality that Dubai strives to offer to its millions of visitors.

His simple but meaningful act turned an ordinary ride into a memorable cultural exchange and earned him recognition from the highest levels of the city’s transport authority.
