UAE: Salik parking launching at 18 new sites in Dubai and Sharjah
Use your Salik account for ticket-free, barrier-free parking at Parkonic locations
Dubai: Parkonic, the UAE’s largest private parking operator, has announced that 18 new locations will go live this coming week with Salik, Dubai’s road toll operator. These sites will now offer ticket-free, automatic parking payments through your Salik account.
"The integration of Salik’s payment system with Parkonic’s smart parking technology introduces a truly contactless parking experience. Users can pay via the Parkonic app, scan the on-site QR code, or simply drive in and out - where the parking fee is automatically deducted from their Salik account if no prior payment is made. Please note, this integration does not affect existing parking rates, it simply streamlines the payment process for a more efficient user experience,” Parkonic stated to Gulf News.

According to Parkonic’s official Instagram account, the newly integrated locations include:

The partnership allows drivers to 'drive in, park, and go,' with automatic payment deductions from their account, no queues, barriers, or paper tickets.
Parkonic currently operates more than 150 parking locations across the UAE. Among the most popular are the Palm Jumeirah, the Museum of the Future in Dubai, The Beach at JBR, Saadiyat Beach in Abu Dhabi, and Al Qasba in Sharjah.
In 2024, Salik entered into an agreement with Parkonic to integrate its eWallet system into Parkonic-operated sites. As announced last year, this collaboration would enable the use of the Salik eWallet for parking payments at all participating locations.
