Truck flips on Sharjah-to-Al Nahda road

Sharjah: A heavy truck  flipped over on the Sharjah-to-Al Nahda road, breaking through the central barrier and causing traffic jams.

Sharjah Police said: “A truck accident temporarily closed the road from the direction of the intersection of Al Nahda towards Al Nahda Bridge."

The truck crashed into the road's barrier. Drivers became stuck in traffic jam as police worked to remove the truck. 

Sharjah Police were investigating the accident. It was unclear if anyone has sustained injuries.
