Dubai: A technical snag at a platform in Karama Metro Station, Dubai, affected train service in one direction, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said on Friday.

RTA technicians Saturday were still trying find out what the problem was.

Ramadan Abdullah, Director of Operations at RTA’s Rail Agency said the service was delayed in only one direction on the Red Line and services on other directions ran on schedule.

An alternative bus service was provided until the service was back to normal.
