Free parking in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah on Saturday

Dubai: Car parking will be free in the paid parking zones in Dubai on Saturday January 1.

However, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) official said that the parking will not be free in the Deira Fish Market area to ensure enough parking spaces for visitors on the holiday.

The official also asked motorists to avoid illegal parking such as parking on pavement, double parking or blocking the traffic flow as they can be fined for this offence even on free parking day.

Being a public holiday, parking will be free in Abu Dhabi as well as in Sharjah.
