Dubai: Parking will be free in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah on Sunday and Monday, transport authorities have announced.
Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that parking will be free at all paid parking zones, except for Deira Fish Market and Dubai Media City.
The free parking is announced across the country for two days to mark the UAE’s 42nd National Day.
RTA’s Director of Parking has urged the motorists to use parking space and all public properties with responsibility.
“All of us responsible for using the parking spaces and public properties with care and not obstructing others in any way. Motorists parking their vehicles inappropriately or at undesignated locations will be fined,” said Adel Al Marzouqi, Director of Parking.
He added that paid parking areas at Deira Fish Market.
