Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Saturday that several roads in Dubai will be temporarily closed on Sunday, February 2, due to the L'Étape Dubai Cycling Race 2025.

The ride will take place from 6:30 am to 10:30 am, starting at Dubai Design District and covering 100 km, with the finish line at Expo City.

According to the RTA’s X account, five major roads—Oud Metha Road, Dubai-Al Ain Road, Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Road, Expo Road, and Lahbab Street—will be temporarily closed during the event.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes, such as Ras Al Khor Road and Emirates Road, until the race concludes.

The authority also encouraged drivers to plan ahead and leave early to avoid delays.
