Dubai: An accident on Shaikh Zayed Road left one person dead, Dubai Police said on Wednesday.
The accident involved a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and a heavy dump truck.
Police said the driver of the SUV suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Dubai Police said the driver of the SUV was speeding and crashed his vehicle into the truck.
