Teenager trying to catch pigeons from UAE mosque minaret dies in fall

Sharjah: A 15-year-old boy died after a fall from a mosque minaret in Dhaid as he tried to catch pigeons on Thursday night, an official at Sharjah Police told Gulf News.

The Emirati teenager identified as M.A.M.H. was admitted to hospital with bleeding in his brain and fractures in various parts of his body but succumbed to his injuries, an official at Al Dhaid Hospital said.

The body of the boy was handed over to his family on Friday and he was buried in Al Dhaid cemetery.
