Significance of research stressed

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chancellor of the Zayed University, reiterated the significance of scientific research for the progress of the community and the country under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

These remarks were made by Sheikh Nahyan during an address he delivered yesterday at the opening of the conference of the teaching staff at Zayed University.

Sheikh Nahyan revealed that the university will receive next week a committee of international research and studies experts to lay the foundation for scientific research.

Dr Hanif Hassan, director of the university, said that the university pays great attention to the field of scientific research with its various specialties, considering its effective role regarding development and advancement of the UAE community.
