Sheikh Mohammed visits LuLu in Dubai’s Silicon Central Mall: Watch video

Dubai: Shoppers at Lulu Hypermarket in Silicon Central Mall were in for a royal surprise today as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, dropped in for an impromptu visit.

The unexpected appearance created a buzz across the mall, with stunned shoppers and staff capturing the special moment.
“Moments like this inspire us to keep raising the bar in retail excellence,” said a LuLu Group spokesperson, calling it a moment to cherish.

Sheikh Mohammed reportedly spent over an hour touring the mall. He arrived at LuLu Hypermarket around 6pm and visited various sections, including groceries, household items, bakery, hot food, fish, garments, and stationery, a spokesperson pointed out.

Shoppers were overjoyed to unexpectedly see Sheikh Mohammed up close. Many took photos and recorded videos on their mobile phones. According to the spokesperson, Sheikh Mohammed mingled with the public, creating unforgettable moments for everyone present.

Sheikh Mohammed has been visiting various public spaces – from malls and supermarkets to historic souks and ports – often stopping to speak with residents and visitors along the way.
