Sharjah Stamp Exhibition 2016 opens

Sharjah: The Sharjah Stamp Exhibition 2016 kicked off its activities at Sharjah Mega Mall on Tuesday, with the participation of more than 240 stamp collectors from the Arab world and foreign countries.

Mohammad Ahmad Al Murr, who inaugurated the event, said that the exhibition reflects the UAE’s civilisational achievements and its historic events. He added that some of the stamps on display were recently issued to mark a number of exceptional events, while others that capture the interests of stamp collectors in the region are commemorative stamps. The exhibition will conclude its activities on November 12.
