Sharjah City’s rental process has been significantly improved, with the application system now fully accessible through digital platforms. This upgrade aims to simplify procedures and provide greater convenience for residents, supporting the government’s wider push toward digital transformation in public services.

The update was discussed during a meeting of the Sharjah Executive Council, chaired by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Council, held on Tuesday at the Ruler’s Office.

Judicial fees law amendments reviewed

Among the key topics was the review of proposed amendments to the law governing judicial fees in the emirate. The Council agreed to submit these proposals to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for final approval.

The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, both Deputy Rulers and Deputy Chairmen of the Executive Council.

Commitment to service enhancement

Beyond legislative matters, the Council discussed a range of initiatives focused on improving public services across sectors. A key focus remained on the digital rental process, which officials said now offers greater ease and accessibility for residents.

The meeting underscored the Council’s ongoing commitment to the development and modernization of government services to better serve Sharjah’s growing population.
