Sharjah ruler approves 400 government jobs after Eid Al Adha
He also approved the implementation of a programme to qualify and train jobseekers
Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the approval of 400 new jobs in government entities in the emirate, which will be filled after the Eid Al Adha holiday, with priority given to university degree holders who have previously been qualified and trained through government human resources programmes.
His Highness also approved the implementation plan for the Sharjah programme to qualify and train jobseekers, which will run from July 1 to December 31, 2025, with a total budget of Dh55.8 million. This initiative aims to enhance employment opportunities and support national competencies.
This was announced during a phone call made by Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, chairman of the Sharjah Department of Human Resources, on the "Direct Line" programme broadcast on Sharjah Radio and TV.
