ABU DHABI If you believe your love can never die, here’s a rose that will say it for you. Yes, we are talking about roses that never die, and thanks to the aptly named luxury boutique chain Forever Rose, you can find these flowers in permanent bloom at five stores in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Grown using the mineral rich volcanic soils of Ecuador in South America, the roses at Forever Rose need no water or sunlight to retain their freshness.
“The roses are so unique that their petals are 10 times thicker and five times larger than any other roses available in the market,” said Ebrahim Al Samadi, CEO of Forever Rose. “When kept enclosed in a glass dome, they can last forever,” he added.
Founded in London in 1999 and popular with European royalty, Forever Rose was brought to Abu Dhabi in 2014 by Al Samadi.
One of the signature products of the chain is the glass encased Bella which costs between Dh750 and Dh2,000 depending on the size of the flower. It is available in 18 colours.
Other specialities include ‘open air’ roses such as The Rose Cube as well as freshly cut garden roses and luxury gift items such as Debailleul Belgium chocolates and exclusive in-house women’s and men’s fragrances. The chain will soon be launching a range of bespoke diamond jewellery.
Speaking to XPRESS, Al Samadi said they recently launched yet another retail concept - a floating gold-dipped mall kiosk – that showcases the full range of luxury Forever Rose products.
The first kiosk opened in Yas Mall on April 30 and another in Al Ain Mall on May 1.
“The unique kiosks that are 3.5 metres tall look like floating boutiques. We are in talks with all the luxury malls in the UAE to open more floating boutiques,” said Al Samadi.
