In an open letter of protest and condemnation to the American ambassador in Saudi Arabia, Saudi English language Professor from Jeddah Afnan Fatani has vented her anger at the open U.S. support to Israel's slaughter campaign of the Palestinians in the West Bank cities.

The letter also considered that "anyone who eats at Burger King or any other American fast food outlets, or drinks Pepsi Cola or any other American soft drinks as eating and drinking the blood of the Palestinian people."

"The lack of street demonstrations, no overt signs of mass fury and public outrage, no burning of U.S. flags , Israeli flags and effigies of George Bush and Sharon doesn't mean that we are not appalled by the U.S. role in Palestine and its cold blooded willingness to condone the assassination of those who dare to fight for their basic human rights," read the letter that was published by the Jeddah-based English language daily Arab News.

Stating that she is voicing the feeling of millions in Saudi Arabia, Afnan said: "We will hold President George W. Bush personally responsible for the inevitable murder of Arafat and the point blank executions of innocent Palestinian teenagers throughout the West Bank".

She also condemned President Bush for his move to divide the Arabs, for his open support to Israel to kill Hamas and Jihad members, for welcoming notorious war criminal Sharon while shunning and abhorring Arafat, his racist call to Arafat to curb what he describes as "terrorism", while praising the barbarous actions of Sharon, his personal support for Sharon's genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians, his support for the illegal occupation of Palestinian land, for his denouncement of Islamic religious schools, state organisations , charities and educational institutions and his support to Jewish religious extremists who, quoting Talmud, "sympathise with animals but not with non-Jews."

" Mr. Ambassador, we do not care if we incur the wrath of your President, deny us U.S. visas, admissions to your schools and universities or freeze our assets in American banks. What we do care most is our faith, our dignity and our sacred homeland."

Afnan warned that "he who granted victory to David against Goliath, to Moses against Pharaoh, Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) against Abu Lahab, will grant victory to the warriors of Palestine against Sharon and Bush and those who sponsor them. Beware Mr. Ambassador that the curse promised by the Lord to the misbehaving children of Israel (Deut 28) does not fall upon your own heads."

Afnan, who has published several research papers on Arabic linguistic, stated that "we will never applaud Israeli and American destruction of Palestine, never label our resistance and freedom movements as "terrorists" and Israeli terror as "retaliation", never relinquish our right to Jerusalem, never stop aiding our people in Palestine including those who chose to die as martyrs, never stop protesting your biased war on terror and your blind support of Israeli brutality.

"Never stop the call to end the illegal occupation of our homeland, never stop honouring martyrs, never forget the Holocaust of 1948 against Palestinians, never watch idly as Israel and America orchestrate a new one in 2002 and never side with Bush and Sharon and thereby side with genocide, mass murder, transfer and expulsion".

"We believe we are on the side of martyrs, decency, humanity, civility, fortitude and freedom and concepts which the brave American warriors of the past upheld so valiantly. But alas, no more," said Afnan.

She has listed a number of Israeli atrocities President Bush and his administration were quick to defend. This include justifying and supporting Sharon's invasion of West Bank by openly stating that Israel has the right to defend itself, giving him sufficient time to carry out the massacre of Palestinians and thus repeating Sabra and Shatila massacres, the detention of hundreds of Palestinians youths besides causing untold misery to the innocent Palestinians and the destruction of their properties.

Daily humiliating , beating and often murdering the local people and men being stripped to their underwear to walk through, tanks being placed at hospital gates and women forced to deliver their babies in the streets, killing unarmed civilians and often children who were shot and maimed in refugee camps on a daily basis, Israeli tanks firing at ambulances trying to rescue the wounded and denying the murdered Palestinians a decent funeral.
