Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi City Municipality has launched the second edition of Ramadan Majlis until March 29 with a diverse line-up of family activities and entertainment.
Several activities will be held at Khalifa Square in Khalifa City, Rabdan Park in Rabdan area, Garden of Melodies in Mohammad Bin Zayed City, Al Wathba Park in Al Bahia, Mushrif Council in the Mushrif area and Al Bahia Park.
Salma Al Mansouri, Head of Community Services and Customer Happiness Department at the Municipal Presence Centre in Khalifa City, said that the Ramadan Majlis aims to create community entertainment destinations.
Khalifa Square will host entrepreneurs with more than 25 stores selling oud, incense, perfumes, clothes, accessories, food, paintings, and handicrafts. It also features a restaurant corner and educational workshops within its green spaces. It also hosts a nursery where visitors can buy various seedlings and plants. Children enjoy painting workshops.
Khalid Al Hammadi, a visitor to the Ramadan Majlis observed that this year there are more than 15 educational, entertaining and cultural workshops for young people.
The Ramadan Majlis is also an opportunity for talented young people to showcase their projects in a competitive atmosphere.
Malath Muhammad, owner of the project for distributions, gifts, and arranging artificial and natural flowers, said that this event gave her the opportunity to introduce herself, promote her small project, and gain new experiences.
Basma Ramadan, who participated in the production of cakes, sweets, cookies and stuffing, said that the municipality gave her a space to introduce her project and promote it within a daily public flow, which provided her with great moral support, praising the good organisation.
The Ramadan Majlis is drawing visitors due to the diversity of activities and displays of productive families and educational workshops, in addition to enjoyment with outdoor seating and courtyard facilities equipped with all high-end services.
