Sharjah: Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) has announced it will provide 20,000 iftar meals to its workers, in cooperation with Investment Bank, during Ramadan.
“Distributing iftar meals to fasting workers is one of the annual social initiatives that Sharjah Municipality is keen to organise every year in cooperation with other government and private partners,” said Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, director-general of SCM.
Al Tunaiji added that Investment Bank will distribute about 20,000 meals in partnership with the municipality, based on the societal and humanitarian role and values of solidarity in the holy month, as well spreading the spirit of charitable and voluntary work.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Mohamed Abu Eida, CEO of Investment Bank, said: “We are very proud of this partnership with Sharjah Municipality. We are keen in the Investment Bank to support initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of community members.
