Qatar to promote Asian Games at Soccerex
Soccerex 2003, the annual meeting for the football industry, will have an unusual mix of soccer and other sports activities when it takes place on November 29-30 at the Jumeirah International Hotel in Dubai.
Qatar - with its sights firmly set on hosting the 2006 Asian Games in Doha - have confirmed a strong presence at the event, which will be inaugurated by FIFA President Sepp Blatter.
Soccerex is the ideal place to be for those interested in the business of football. It also offers the the ideal platform to showcase the sport's top events.
"Qatar have realised the importance of being present at such a prestigious event like Soccerex," noted Rashid Al Kamali, Soccerex's representative in the Middle East and Asia regions.
Besides the involvement of the Qatari royal family, various clubs will from the neighbouring Gulf state will be represented at the two-day event.
