Power station catches fire in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: A blaze in a Musaffah area power supply station on Wednesday afternoon prompted Civil Defense teams to rush to the scene.

The station, which feeds the Musaffah area and other Abu Dhabi city areas with electricity, caught fire at about 4.30pm. No injuries were reported.

Three hours later, the Civil Defense team was still cooling down the scene as investigations proceeded.
