Public can use various platforms to give their feedback on the Al Ameen Security Service
Dubai: The Al Ameen Security Service of Dubai Police is calling on the public to participate in its official survey.
The survey is organised by police in cooperation with Dubai Statistic Centre on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Al Ameen service.
The Al Ameen service allows the public to report incidents that can threaten the safety and security of society and the country and also to make queries on police-related issues.
UAE residents or even people abroad can give the police their feedback about the service via the police official survey.
Police said the Al Ameen Security service would like to receive people’s points of view about the service in terms of the means of communication, mechanisms and easiness to reach.
The feedback received by police will be used for the development of the service, authorities said.
The Al Ameen service is one of the most important services that addresses the public directly and forms a bridge of communication with members of the community by receiving security information that can help other members of society.
Police said the service ensures complete confidentiality for anyone providing information to help resolving any issue so as to ensure anonymity and to preserve their rights.
The public will be able to communicate with Al Ameen through different channels alongside the traditional means of communication such as the toll free number and fax. They can communicate with Al Ameen through different applications that are available through iPhone, BlackBerry, social networks, Al Ameen’s official website and SMSs.
The Dubai Statistics Centre will be providing technical support in the survey.
The questionnaire, which was designed in collaboration with the Dubai Statistics Centre, will be both in Arabic and English, and can be accessed through smart phones, social media channels and the website of the service. The user can also get the questionnaire via the following links:
