Mosque with modern architecture has a capacity to accommodate over 900 worshippers
Dubai: The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai inaugurated the Nasser Ahmed Nasser Lootah Mosque in Muhaisnah 2, in the presence of Mohammed Ali bin Zayed Al-Falasi, Executive Director of the Mosque Affairs Sector, along with a number of officials and relevant stakeholders.
The mosque features modern architectural design, covering an area of 738 square metres, with a capacity to accommodate up to 922 worshippers, making it one of the distinguished mosques in the area. The mosque includes an Iwan, a main prayer hall, and commercial stores that contribute to the mosque’s sustainability.
The mosque is equipped with all the modern facilities that contribute to the comfort of worshippers, including washrooms and ablution areas with the latest equipment. It contains 13 washbasins and 16 ablution stations, in addition to facilities dedicated to people of determination, making it a complete model of contemporary mosques.
The mosque features a 19-metre-high minaret, reflecting the aesthetic and spiritual character of the place. Additionally, a fully equipped residence has been allocated for the Imam and the Mu’adhin, containing all essential facilities to ensure their comfort.
The opening of the mosque aligns with Dubai’s vision to develop mosques, enhancing their role as places of worship that provide an exceptional spiritual atmosphere for worshippers, while meeting the community’s needs according to the highest engineering and architectural standards.
