Expat wins Dh1 million in Big Ticket draw

Abu Dhabi: A Bangladeshi expat residing in Abu Dhabi won Dh1 million in Big Ticket’s weekly e-draw series.

Mohammed Mannan, a businessman working in the capital, is one of Big Ticket’s latest winners. Having lived alone in Abu Dhabi for more than 20 years, he first heard about Big Ticket a decade ago from his friends. Watching them eagerly purchase tickets and share stories about the draw, he decided to take a chance and join in.

Mannan began purchasing Big Ticket tickets with a group of five friends, initially buying tickets every month before switching to occasional participation. For his most recent entry, he bought two tickets in-store and received three free tickets through a promotional offer. It was one of those free tickets that brought him the win.

“When I received the call from Big Ticket, I was overwhelmed with happiness and excitement. Somewhere deep down, I had a feeling today would be my lucky day, and my instincts were spot on.”

While Mannan hasn’t finalised plans for his share of the prize money, he intends to invest it into expanding his business.

“I will definitely continue purchasing Big Ticket tickets. My message to others is simple: keep trying your luck,” he added.

The next draw for the Dh25 million grand prize will be on February 3. Additionally, there will be one more weekly e-draw with Dh1 million up for grabs next week. Tickets are available online at www.bigticket.ae or at counters located at Zayed International Airport and Al Ain Airport.
